[To all cat lovers, this lady has a vibrant and colorful page on "framed" cats. And if you are looking for all kinds of gifs, this lady also has a "Quick" key to all sorts of animated gifs, Holiday gifs, and even to "Fun Stuff with WebTV." Oh, there is also a link to "Kidsgif directory." Lots to see!--ck]
Today, I would like to introduce Jackie. I received Jackie's site through an e-mail that was being passed around, so I checked it out and decided it was a good candidate for you, the readers, to read and see. Jackie was very kind and answered my questions nicely. Here is her story.
Jackie lives in Port Arthur, Texas. which is the home of Janis Joplin, Johnny and Edgar Winter, and Coach Jimmy Johnson. It is also the birthplace of Texaco and Gulf oil. She lives on Lake Sabine. The lake is across from Pleasure Island, which is part of Port Author.
Jackie and her family have lived in other places, many of which have been in Louisiana. (Hmmm, good old Cajun country with good old fashion cooking which is the place to eat and get healthy. LOL). They have settled in Port Author for now.
Jackie purchased her WebTV unit at Conn's store on June 11, 1999. Jackie started doing HTML when she first heard you could decorate your e-mail, not to long after getting online. This was exciting to Jackie and, of course, she just had to know more.
Jackie then started lurking in the "gifs" newsgroup and started playing in the sig box. Jackie was introduced to a young lady, whom her husband met in one of the newsgroups. At first, the codes of HTML was sent to Jackie by this young lady. Jackie then put it in her sig box. And after that, she has not stopped. Jackie says she really loves doing HTML. "It's real fun," she said.
Jackie has met a lot of people in her lifetime, but she has never met such devoted people like she has through the newsgroups. These groups have helped Jackie with a lot of helpful sites. The newsgroups she frequents a lot include "Animated gifs," "Gif's-4-ya," "catgirl64" and "cdazzle's." "And all people in the newsgroups are all willing to help anybody that needs help finding what you need, like learning HTML, to finding a gif or gifs, backgrounds, etc," she said. With this information, she then started her webpage.
Jackie started collecting and transloading things so she could make a site or web page. (Isn't transloading great?) On Jackie's site, there are lots of real cute framed cats. And her collection also has some wild cats in it. Also, Jackie has some of Kayomi's cats. She first saw the Kayomi's collection when she was still collecting cats. So Jackie e-mailed Kayomi and asked if she could get permission to frame some of her collection. Kayomi agreed as long as Jackie wrote that Kayomi had the copyrights on the pictures, then she could use them.
Jackie likes Christmas, so there are some Christmas goodies to always enjoy but the cat gifs are there, too, for the cat lover...like me.
Jackie likes WebTV, because it is simple and easy to use. She also loves the wireless keyboard. And, she said you can't beat the purchasing price. (This is so true) Jackie doesn't like it when you can't connect. (And, who doesn't?) And she especially does not like it when it runs slow (I don't like that either) or when you can't load pages.
Jackie would especially like to thank her husband for introducing her to WebTV. She sends a special thanks out to her friends, Cdazzle, Gingerough, and Becky for taking the time to help her when she needed help with HTML. Jackie just loves her WebTV. Jackie can say she is totally addicted now.

[Community Editor's Notes: Jackie, what a "bubbly" page! Just couldn't resist saying that. I love bubbles, too. The colors on the cat page are so vibrant and quite adorable. We want to wish you the best with your new newsgroup! Looking good!--ck]
