You know its stuff like this that keeps me coming back to this forum to let people know the truth. Web tv is in fact compatible with java. IT has always been compatible with it. If you remember back when the web tv first came out, as you said you do, it was java enabled. It even had it on the box! They removed the feature because to many people were hacking into it and reacking havoc. As for real audio, it is compatible now! There are 3 types of real audio out there right now. 3.0 , 5.0 and G2. Web tv is compatible with 3.0 currently. Goto www.radiou.com to test it. Support for 5.0 will be released by the end of the year, and G2 support, well your guess is as good as mine. No word from my source at this time on this one. However I do agree with one thing you said. A computer is very cheap now and I believe the better buy.
