I'd like to talk about SPAM

My mail is full of SPAM, I receive about a dozen a day. I discard them. There is a notice at bottom of the SPAMS that say if you e-mail to remove they won't send any more. I have done this, and the spam still comes. Is there any way to filter all the SPAM ?? Most of the SPAM comes from msn, or address that seem phony.
