You have to compare webtv with a Computer now.
since a cool computer is under $500. (An Etower 266 is $350. Just $150 more than the Plus. And I see monitors everywhere used.) then you have the 100% of the web (java,real videoG3,net meeting,ICQ and much much more.
And you can pick your ISP.
A Computer in the tv will be the future. But Bill Gates just see's an ad box.(that's what that hard drive was for on the Plus.)(ad drive! haha)
the Clasic was the best deal. I remember when It was fast! Yes webtv was faster than a computer at one time. Then everyone and there mother got one!
